Gentle Giant 16.2 LSOF son
Gentle Giant 16.2 LSOF son
Whoodis as we call him is the sweetest horse around and gets quite the audience at barrel races. He’s literally the biggest horse there. And not tall and skinny like a TB. He is solid QH built. Perfectly balanced. Good feet, pretty face. I’m only selling him because I have futurity babies coming and too many 3yros to ride. I bought him as a project but then fell in love with him. He had been in the 1d several times and a lady bought him and she couldn’t get with his stride and he stopped running hard. So I took him and restarted him on some basics. He’s really soft and light now and stops very good. (He was dull and no brakes when I got him) I’m just now starting to speed him back up and he’s doing really good. He won $1000 and a buckle back to back at two barrel races a couple of months ago. I’m just keeping him in the 3-4d right now (he lopes the 4d time lol) until he is really confident. He stalls at shows well and hauls well. I think he needs to stay at 3-4d speeds for another 6 months to a year before you’d want to really push him but then I think he would consistently be a 1d horse. He is big boned and I had him xrayed and the vet said you don’t see this often but his hocks look like a 3 yo so he doesn’t need maintenance. His name is FAMOUS SMASHED LION. He is an LSOF son.
