Started Barrel Horse

Description: 8yo gelding up for discussion king is an 8 year old AQH, he is started on barrels but by no means is he seasoned. Stands about 14.3 h and requires an intermediate rider. He does well but could use some work with speed and consistency. He comes from roping lines and is papered. Kings a very sweet and trusting horse when the time is taken to bond with him, he has his quirks but nothing that cannot be worked out. Stands well for ferrier and vet, has had teeth floated recently and is UTD on all shots and coggins test. Loads well when bribed with a snack for a slant load trailer but does prefer to turn around when unloading. No fault of his own and breaks my heart but I am a college student and have a full time job and cannot work with him as much as i’d like and he has too much potential to be a pasture pet. He does better barefoot but can be shoed. located in summerville SC
